Easter Gone Satanic

-New THOU ART LORD (no release since 2005) album «The Regal Pulse Of Lucifer» is recorded and expected released in May. The original line-up with Magus Daoloth, Necromayhem and Gothmog + new). They return back to basic sound and music. So far their «Apollyon» (1996) album is probably their best release. Personally I liked their other bands ROTTING CHRIST and NECROMANTIA better, but its nice do somethin different. New ROTTING CHRIST album has everythin I would ask for: occult mood, cool guitar riffs, catchy music and even singin in several languages. I also listened to old NECROMANTIA lately and I would appreciate a new release like «Ancient Pride» (also incl. a very good MANOWAR cover «Each Dawn I Die»...even with high vocal!) and sounds from their mysterious demo music days. THOU ART LORD drummer Maelstrom also active in many bands, like RAVENCULT (cool sharp, aggressive B.M.) and HORDES OF DECAY (cool B.M. Thrash).

-MORTUARY DRAPE also announced they will go back to the sound of their roots and thats somethin to look forward to as well.

-I played NECROMANTIAs «Demo '93» for my Blues neighbour in FoxBay and when listen it again we both impressed and surprised about this kind of an underworld journey. This is of course not blues music but its very different from the ordinary B.M. since its got a different soundpicture with keys and piano and sounds included. But as I mentioned Blues, well check out BLACKHOUSE BLUES (C.O.S. members) cool blues rock version of Anton Szandor LaVey's «Hymn Of The Satanic Empire».

-TIER INSTINCT (dark, industrial ambient music with spoken distortion words) and SCAPEGOAT (ambient ritual music) are two projects u would like to play if u not party but late on the night and both bands horrifyin like audio version of a horror-movie.

-NEWSTED 4-song EP «Metal» released in January, slow and powerful thrash (except the first song «Soldierhead») and some moodfilled guitar solos! I played FLOTSAM AND JETSAMs «Doomsday For The Deceiver» LP yesterday, a good thrash metal album from 1986 and yeah, drinkin beer to this music works very well!.
